This is one of the most fun Peloton-inspired posts to read and write. Some Peloton instructors post photos of their dogs all the time on social media, even creating individual accounts for them, while others required a bit more sleuthing on my part.
Who knew that so many Peloton instructors have dogs and so many of them adopted or rescued them during the last couple of years?
Since March of 2020, I have seen more people get Pelotons and puppies than ever before. You will definitely see many of the instructors posting pictures of their pups on National Puppy Day, a made-up internet holiday that falls on March 23rd (#nationalpuppyday).
And even if you’re not a Peloton fan, if you’re looking for pictures of cute dogs, you’ve come to the right place.
Here is a list of all of the Peloton instructors and their canine companions. I’ve listed the dogs alphabetically by name.

- Final Thoughts
1. Alfie & Chloe: Peloton Instructor Dog Dad Bradley Rose
Breed: Unknown
London-based Peloton instructor, Bradley Rose and his wife Sophia Parra, a social media coach, already had one dog named Alfie. But while shopping for dog food one day, they noticed a dog sitting in a crate. They were told she was aggressive. They adopted her anyway, naming her Chloe. And who could imagine Bradley Rose’s Instagram feed without her. He often features him mugging with his two dogs and if you’re looking for a good laugh, please check them out.
2. Bowie Bonham: Peloton Instructor Dog Mom Kendall Toole
Breed: Cavapoo
This 13-pound puff of cuteness obviously brings Kendall so much joy, as evidenced by the post below. She’s publicly talked about her recent breakup and nothing heals the heart more than a hug from your pup.
3. Cassius: Peloton Instructor Dog Dad Alex Toussaint
Breed: French Bulldog
Alex Toussaint affectionally calls his french bulldog, Cassius, his “son.” You can find the two of them in Montauk, riding in the car, and celebrating new homeownership. My husband and I got our first dog together back in 2006 and this breed always has my heart.
4. Cesar: Peloton Dog Mom Tunde Oyeneyin
Breed: possibly a Miniature Pinscher
We don’t know much about Cesar. Some refer to him as a senior dog in the comments of Tunde’s Instagram posts but he appears very active as evidenced below. Tunde has partnered with ACANA and ProPlan dog foods, the latter is what I feed my dogs after my vet recommended it.
5. Charlie: Peloton Instructor Mom Nico Sarani
Breed: Australian Shephard
Nico Sarani reminds us to be present and says that Charlie, who she got in late 2021, has already taught her patience, responsibility, commitment, and love. Just take a look at his blue eyes and you’ll feel more at peace.
6. Charly: Peloton Instructor Dog Mom Callie Gullickson
Breed: Golden Retriever
In May 2022, Callie welcomed a puppy into her family. Callie joked that she wanted either a puppy or a baby and her husband Chris gave her Charly, a Golden Retriever pup. It looks like they’re in love and maybe a baby is next!
7. Chicken: Peloton Instructor Dog Mom Jess King
Breed: Unknown
New mom Jess King’s previous dog, Zeus, often made an appearance on her social media and she talked about him endlessly during her Peloton rides. But last year, he passed and she openly discussed her grieving process. Luckily, she and her musician fiancée, Sophia Urista (they host a cooking show together) had previously rescued a dog they named Chicken, who helped them deal with the loss.
Chicken had spent months wandering around the streets of New York City before they adopted him. He has his own Instagram page aptly called ChickenALaKing.
In their family photo, Zeus is seated left and Chicken to the right.
8. Dolly: Peloton Instructor Dog Mom Selena Samuela
Breed: English Bulldog
Selena Samuela, newly married, recently announced that her dog, only 1 1/2 years old, received a cancer diagnosis. If you’ve taken one of Selena’s classes, you know that she talks about Dolly all the time. And Peloton members may remember the time when Selena had to take some time off from work after she injured herself while walking Dolly.
9. Dougal: Peloton Instructor Dog Dad Daniel McKenna
Breed: Rottweiler
In 2022, former Peloton Instructor, McKenna, the “Irish Yank,” one of my favorites for strength classes adopted a Rottweiler puppy whom he named Dougal. The media has given a lot of attention to Daniel’s love life and this adorable puppy will likely be quite the magnet.
10. Dusty & Maurice: Peloton Instructor Dog Mom Becs Gentry
Breed: Dusty (Weimaraner), Maurice (English Golden Retriever)
Brit but New York based Peloton Tread instructor Becs Gentry doesn’t seem to have any photos of her two dogs together but she involves them both in her outdoor runs and workouts. She added Maurice to her dog family in 2020. She can be found on early morning walks (he’s an early riser) around Brooklyn, New York.
11. Hattie: Peloton Instructor Dad Ross Rayburn
Breed: Mixed Breed (mom Aussie Shepherd)
A few years ago, long-time couple Ross Rayburn and his husband, Christopher Wheeldon, rescued their dog together, Hattie Walker Wheelburn, a combination of their last names. They named her after Hattie Walker from the Broadway show Follies.
Rayburn thanks Peloton for allowing him to feel settled after 12 years of traveling to finally fulfill his dream of being a pet owner.
12. Hugo: Peloton Instructor Dad Marcel Maurer
Breed: Vizla
German strength coach, Marcel Maurer, seems to have the perfect workout companion with his strong and athletic dog, Hugo, a breed known for their athleticism and need to exercise.
13. Juan: Peloton Instructor Hannah Corbin
Breed: Bernedoodle
I’m not going to lie, I’m a little bit obsessed with Juan. Hannah’s been sharing her renovation project on her Catskills cabin alongside her husband in her feed, giving Juan plenty of places to run.
14. Loki & Mia: Peloton Instructor Mom Anna Greenberg
Breed: Unknown
New mom, Peloton yogi Anna Greenberg rescued two dogs from the KoreanK9Rescue, an organization that saves dogs from the South Korean meat market. Loki and Mia share an Instagram account.
15. Luther: Peloton Dog Dad Matty Maggiacomo
Breed: English bulldog
If you’ve taken one of Matty’s outdoor walks, you’ve probably heard him mention his dog Luther. If you love English bulldog puppy pictures like I do, scroll down until you find those of Luther.
16. Manny, Peggy, & Roy: Peloton Instructor Mom Susie Chan
Breed: Manny (unknown), Peggy (French bulldog), Roy (English bulldog)
Susie Chan wins the Peloton dog parent award, having the biggest four-legged family. She recently added rescue dog Manny to her home, which already included Peggy and Roy. Her photos often feature her on the beach walking these three pups.
17. Rigoberto aka Rex: Peloton Instructor Dog Mom Camila Ramon
Peloton’s first Spanish speaking cycling instructor, Camila Ramon, often shares photos of her Mini Goldendoodle around the house and on hikes. You can see most of her photos in the highlights of her Instagram account and truth be told, he’s not so mini.
18. Sienna Grace & Shiloh: Peloton Instructor Dog Mom Jess Sims
Breed: Pit Mixes
I took a dual-instructor Peloton Guide class the other day with Jess Sims and Selena Samuela, both of whom could not stop smiling whenever they mentioned their dogs. Jess Sims, the proud dog mama of two dogs, rescued Sienna Grace and later Shiloh, who she calls “Shi Shi” from the Muddy Paws rescue. Like Tunde, she has done campaigns for Acana dog food.
Besides her usual workouts and classes that she teaches, this former teacher stays active walking her dogs four times every day, and “aims or one of those walks to be completely cell phone free.”
19. Sunny: Peloton Instructor Dog Mom Rebecca Kennedy
Breed: Sato (a mixed breed aka an American Village Dog)
Rebecca Kennedy rescued her dog, Sunny, from the streets of Puerto Rico in late 2020. Her family always adopted dogs when she was growing up so she always knew that was something she would do. Sunny even has her own Instagram account where Rebecca calls her “sunshine in a bottle.”
And while, Andy Speer doesn’t have a dog himself, the real life couple spends a lot of time together with Sunny.
20. Tobi: Peloton Instructor Dog Mom Olivia Amato
Breed: Unknown but likely a Cavapoo or Mini Goldendoodle
Olivia always gets tons of comments on her social media when she shares photos of her three-year-old pup. However, I haven’t seen her response when people ask her Tobi’s breed. Tobi can often be seen in the background or gazing up at Olivia as she shares her favorite fashion finds.
Tobi played a huge part in Olivia’s marriage proposal when her boyfriend, Daniel Waldron attached the ring to his collar.
21. Unknown Name: Peloton Instructor Dog Dad Jermaine Johnson
Breed: Unknown
If anyone knows the name of new Peloton instructor, Jermaine Johnson’s pup, please comment below. He looks to be some sort of bulldog, possibly an American bulldog. All we know is that Jermaine calls her his partner in crime and they seem to spend a lot of time making excellent eye contact with one another.
Peloton Instructors with Cats
Not to leave out the felines, I thought I’d mention some of the Peloton Instructor cat lovers. They include:
- Hannah Frankson
- Emma Lovewell
- Christine D’Ercrole
- Kristin McGee
Dog Rescue Organizations
Many of these rescue organizations are located in New York City where many of the Peloton instructors reside, but some have several national locations or even work internationally. The following is the list of rescue groups mentioned in this article:
- Bideawee (Ross Rayburn)
- Korean K9 Rescue (Anna Greenberg)
- Muddy Paws
- Safe & Sound Satos
Final Thoughts
Pets not only bring joy and love into your life but they also keep you active. It’s no surprise that some of the fittest people around, Peloton’s instructors, have one or more dogs. If you’re thinking about getting a dog, do your research. As a dog mom myself, my dogs have such different needs and can often feel like a full-time job. But I can’t imagine my life without one. Oh, and if you want to see more Peloton dogs, check out the Instagram hashtag (and also leaderboard tag) #pelopets.
